The first streetfighter bikes were home brewed, they came out of the back streets, stripped down, deconstructed - the complete opposite of 'pretty' factory bikes. The very first Speed Triple grew up at the factory in the same way as those raw, unfaired machines. Dominating the scene ever since, it's still the coolest kid on the block. Its wide ranging ability ensures outstanding performance in almost every situation, from urban commuting to hard-edged sports riding.
Since its original introduction in 1994 the Speed Triple has become a true two-wheeled icon. Delivering undiluted attitude and a unique presence on the road, it's motorcycling in the most direct, rawest form available, and all the better for it.
