The fuel injected, twelve-valve powerplant has a cubic capacity of 2294cc - that's 140 cubic inches - and makes 147ftlbs of torque at 2500 rpm. This awesome output means even two-up it accelerates with ease, and tenacious forward motion is just a slight twist of a throttle away.

However, the delectable, inexhaustable flow of power from the triple's 2.3 litres engine can be effortlessly controlled using only two fingers.
